The ambitions of our founder, Taira Hama, who founded the company with 3 others at a mere 33 years of age, turned a small factory into an established manufacturer with now more than 50 employees and over 1.6 billion yen in annual sales.
Mihama has become one of the top manufacturers of One-Touch Bands in a very competitive industry where there are over 2,000 competitors. It is both an honor and a privilege to be able to manufacture the same products since the company’s founding.
Our employees will continue to anticipate customer need and evolve with the times, while remaining faithful to our customers as well as our company’s traditions and technology. As our company grows, we will continue to focus on developing new technologies in order to provide the best and most innovative products to our customers.

This is a phrase that is often heard around our industry and I feel is one of the most important concepts.
The term “in search of your own self” was also popular for quite a while, but I am convinced that “myself is not something to search for, but something that needs to be made. First of all, you cannot “become something” if you cannot handle and tackle a given job without putting your all into that work. In order to nurture and foster people who can become something, Mihama makes aware to our employees the following three principles:
1: A superior officer in the company should be able to teach principles
2: Subordinates should be able to speak up plainly.
3: Eagerly participate in local events and gatherings
Our daily lives have become more convenient with the development of information technology.
However, we will make sure that the “craftsmanship” that was nurtured by our founder Taira Hama and those who established this company will be passed down.
